Got to see my new OB doctor today about the boob issue... guess what? My old doc didn't bother to tell me my prolactin levels were at 18.something, instead of under 10.something, which is where they SHOULD BE!

So they're elevated! And my new doc did the exam and all that fun stuff, then says he thinks I probably have a very tiny tumor on my pituitary gland, so he's putting me on a pill for the tumor-problem for 6 months. Should stop hurting, leaking and all that fun stuff in about 6 weeks. WOOHOO!

Good reason to never take no for an answer. I know there's something wrong - it's my body, and I know my girls and what they look like, how they feel, and what's normal. And this? This ain't normal! =D

Phew! So I'm hoping this helps! I had to get another blood draw to re-check my prolactin levels today, and my arm is killing me. Stupid fibro... seriously. A blood draw, and now my whole left arm is sore as can be. Blah! Blah, I say!

Either way... I'm immensely relieved! I can't wait to just sleep tonight... no crazy dreams, no insomnia (i hope), just plain old exhausted-outta-my-mind sleep.

I bet my poor husband is pretty happy. Not that a tumor is a -good- thing, but these are really common, not harmful, and easy to treat. PHEW!

Good to hear it's nothing too serious. I'm sure you will sleep better knowing you don't have cancer or something. Hope you and your poor arm are feeling better tomorrow!

Wow...good for you for taking a proactive approach to your health! I'm glad that your new doctor was able to provide answers, and a solution. Get some sleep and take care of that arm...how about a nice long soak in the tub to relax and maybe help the hurt too!

I am glad it was nothing more serious and you feel better about your new DR.
