Hey everyone,

My house litterly looks like someone came in looking for something to steal and didn't find it.

Does anyone have any advice for me to get it clean quickly and keep it that way?

I can't take it anymore but it's so bad it's overwhelming. So I am having a hard time getting started.

hey beth! :) sometimes i just have to turn music on, light some candles and tackle one room at a time....i sometimes put the timer on for 10 mins and see how much i can do. if i try and do the whole house i get overwelmed easily. usually, once i get started, i'm good to go. also, i reward myself....like, load the dishwasher and then it's computer time...:) hope this helps. :)

A lot of our members have had success cleaning/organizing by using the Flylady system.  You can learn more about it on our Flybabies and FlyLady for Working Women messageboards.  :)

As for me, I've found that if I have the tools I need to organize (bookcases, storage containers, etc.) that it's a lot easier.  Now, if only I could train my kids to put things away when they're done with them.  LOL
