I just had to toot my own horn, so I'm inviting everyone else to do the same.
This week, I actually picked up the stack of papers that was under my desk and organized them. Now, it's not perfect. They still need to be filed furter, but they're separated into categories. I threw out all of the old stuff that doesn't matter anymore.
Then last night I got a card in the mail that made me want to check my credit report, which I ordered back in February. The papers were still sitting in a pile in my armoire. I never filed them. I got them out, went through them, and put them in my filing cabinet!
Since the filing cabinet was so full I could barely get them in there, I pulled out some old records that don't matter anymore and started shredding them.
The pile is still in the process of being shredded, but the point is, I'm doing it!
This is an accomplishment for me. I am the worst when it comes to organizing paperwork. That's why lately I try to get as much electronically as I can. It's much easier for me to drag and drop files into a folder with my mouse than it is to do it with paper. If I ever need it, I can print it.
