Hi all. I used to be a long time poster and cl here...about 7 operations ago. Back in the days when Debbie was the cl. I just got a new computer so I am back on-line. My old one was 12 years old and was unable to access ivillage for about the past year.

Anyhow, I've had OA for over 30 years, a soft tissue rheumatic disease for over 40 years and inflammatory arthritis(unknown type) for 2 1/2 years. Right now I am getting ready to have my 3rd spine surgery in the past year. And since surgery #2 almost killed me, I'm a little bit nervous. But I'm losing bladder function, my feet are numb and my legs are weak so I have no choice. So I just decided to change doctors and hospitals.

Anyone here with experience with Columbia-Presbyterian Hosp. in NYC???

Hi, I just joined this site yesterday, and I just read your post.  I hear that Hospital is very good.  I'm from Long Island, NY then a year ago my hubby and I moved to Allentown PA.  I wish you all the luck with your back surgery.  Please let me know how you make out.  You can post me here if you want.  I'll be checking all the time.  Take care and God Bless.
