I have been dating my boyfriend for a year and he has had the same problem this whole time.  He has difficulty ejaculating.  I have not been with a lot of other guys just two to be exact, and I never remembered having this problem before.  I talked to other people in the beginning and they told me a guy doesn't always get off, so I did not think anything about it back then.  But it has been a year and I could probably count on one hand the times he actually got off.  So I am thinking there is a problem......  He says he feels like he got off at times but there is nothing.  A few times he did masturbate towards the end and was finally able to get off, but even that is not working anymore.  My question is why is he feeling like he just shot off a rocket and did not?  He doesn't say anything about it hurting, should I be concerned?

Hi, Larks, and welcome. Your boyfriend may suffer from retrograde ejaculation. Here's a link with more information on it.

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001282.htm

If this sounds like it could be the case, I suggest he see a doctor about it. Also it means that what he is telling you is true, he has gotten off, or had an orgasm. I do suggest he has it looked into by a doctor.
