Heartburn & GERD

HI Everyone,

I have some bad news that I want to share with all of you:  I wanted to let you know that the Health & Well-Being editors have decided to close the Heartburn/GERD board.  It's not a decision that comes easily and it's based on careful consideration after reviewing the traffic for the last couple of months.  On Feb. 1st this board will be come a read only board.  I am sorry to have to tell you this.  You will still be able to get your ? answered at the following board:  Digestive Disorders, I am CL there too.  Here's the link:  http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-bhgendigesti  I look forward to seeing all of you there!!

thanks for the update. I often wondered why the two boards weren't combined because it was confusing to know which board to go to and often those with digestive disorders are often plagued by more than just one.

I don't think it will be so bad. Perhaps they can create different folders or sections whatever they call them i.e one for gallbladder issues and one for GERD issues on the board.

Have a good weekend!  I am on vacation visiting my parents in Ohio.  We got here today.  It was a 10 hour drive.  Just thought I would check in and see how everyone was doing.

Oh No that stinks!! I don't post often but I do read,and when I was going through hard times with my GERD problems I got really great advice!! Such a shame.
