Well, the daVinci hysterectomy went well. Excuse me if I misspell today. I am on several meds, which I'm sure you all understand.
The doctor removed my uterus, tubes and ovaries. The doctor stated that the cancer had gone through less than half of the wall of the uterus, so he had the lab do a freeze test (?). The cancer was non agressive so the doc said the chances of it having gone into the lymph nodes was less than 5%, so, he did not believe they needed to be removed.
I was up on my feet the next morning and am still a bit tender. I have to give myself a shopt of lovelox every evening to thin the blood. I could not believe the cost...$800. for the prescription. Thank the Lord we have insurance; leaving us a copay of $50.
Anyway, I just wanted to get in and say thank you for the support. I'm not posting very long today, since the medicine is effecting my typing....lol. Lisa, you have been a Godsend. Thank you for being here.
