i've been on birth control for the past 8 years and have never experienced this issue. I've always been good with getting my annuals done and noticing if there's a change in my period or what not. I had abnormal paps for about 3 years and then had crotherapy (sp, sorry) to remove them and haven't had a recurrence. This past tuesday i woke up and went to the bathroom and wiped and it was red like fresh blood. it was just a wipe and that was that. the last time i'd had sex was maybe 2 weeks before with condoms and maybe another 2 weeks prior to that. a few months ago i had the same thing, peed, wiped, tp was bloody. not like a period bloody either. my period isn't due for another 2 weeks and an hpt was negative. this has happened 3 times in the last year. partner i've had and i always use condoms and i'm good about taking my bc pills and i know nothing is 100% except abstenence. Suggestions anyone? thanks

My first thought was ovulation spotting, but then realized that you're on the pill, so ovulation is being suppressed.  It could very well be break-through bleeding/spotting, that is very common when women are using the bcp.
More than likely, this is something benign, but you may want to give your gyn a call just to give him/her a heads up on the situation.  You know your body, you know what's normal and what's not normal.  The doctor might simply say to monitor the spotting, see what happens next month, and that if it continues, you'd need to be evaluated.
Naturally, if this worsens, if you begin to bleed heavily and/or experience severe cramping, then you need to be seen right away.
