in this world that have some type of liver problem.  I also know that lots of them are women.  Are we getting lurkers that feel the board is not active enough to post?  Trust me, I check the board between 3 and 5 times a day looking for anyone that might need to talk.  Please post and you will be answered the same day.  Fear from disease can help make the progression worse.  Doctors believe our attitudes make up half of our treatment, and I truly believe that from my personal experiences.  Cant hurt to post and it might just make you feel better.  See ya on the board.

During the past year, I've learned a lot about my diease process.  As for me once I started taking the medication, the disease became very slow moving. It isn't like lots of other illnesses in that it's hard to see or feel the progression. When I stared treatment last year, I was doing blood tests for liver enzymes every week and was seeing my doctor every two weeks, now it's every 3 weeks,  and see the doctor every 2 months. The goal is to have blood work done every two months and see the doctor every 3  months, until something changes.

Hi Sherry,

I am glad to know you are doing better.  I am doing the blood work every three months and it is so much easier than every week for me.  Dont forget us here...keep us up to date on how you are.  God bless...
