H1N1 Information for liver patients
OK...I have a question. If you have a liver disease, are you taking the H1N1 shot? Is your health compromised to make you vulnerable to this flu? Have you checked with your doctor to find out your needs on this serious outbreak of flu?
I am a transplant patient. I take immunosuppressants daily. I talked with my doctor and my system will be in more danger from the flu than from the vaccine. Therefore, the transplant coordinator has decided that it is necessary for me to take th shot. This is not true for everyone. Please discuss this with your doctor and make a sound decision on what is the healthiest choice for you.
