About 13 days ago I was recently diagnosed with gp and a urinary tract infection. Around 7 days ago I begain experiencing difficulty urinating. Over the next couple of days it got to the point where I would pee once (with great difficulty and time), and not again till almost 12-14 hours later. I eventually had to go to the er and get catherized. I told them everything I was going through and they diagnosed me with anxiety, gave me some pills and sent me home. I can urinate more than once every 15 hours now, but it still takes extreme effort and strain (as well as time). I have read this can be a symptom, but I am wondering how long I can expect this to happen. Has anyone else delt with this before??
