thanks for checking in! I am at 2 weeks today from my procedure. The procedure went well, will a few issues. The where able to keep my ovaries though! I guess I have heavy scar tissue and it was tough getting in and where they needed to, but he was able to still use the robotic (Divinchi). After surgery the gas was awful, but I had this odd severe pain in my upper abdomen, which after blood tests and such they thought they had nicked my bowel! ( my white count was up, pain level high and in a odd area, and my oxygen was really low) They then on the second day stopped all intake of any kind... hardly even ice chips, because they thought they were going to have to go in again. BUT.. thank god on day 4 the white count came back down and the pain was a little less in that odd area. I was released to go home on the night of day 5. Once home, I was in gas pains like crazy! Mostly now it's just a slow recovery, I think I'm about 4 days behind where I should be due to the setbacks in the hospital. I feel like I should be doing more! I am able to stay up most of the day now, and I drive my oldest to his bus stop and walk to the mailbox, but that is about it. I did a load of laundry today, and made dinner, and now I'm wiped out! At my Dr appointment last wends the Dr said I was doing very well considering the setbacks. But I just am not feeling like I'm doing enough! I am hoping to go to work this next Mon. Any suggestions on activities I could or should be doing to move this along faster?
Thanks!
Steph

Have you been walking?  Honestly that is probably the best thing to build up your strength.  That and time.  It was about 2 months before I didn't feel tired easily.  Just remember to rest when your body tells you to.

Thanks for the update!  Keep in touch!
