WELCOME

You have every right to be scared. There is a reason why newly recovering people, or even those of us who have been around a while, need to avoid people, places and things that could cause us to use again.

I think the best way to proceed is to take it one day at a time. If he truly supports you, you may be okay. If you get tempted...well, then we will know.

Keep in touch!!!

Congratulations on beginning your road to recovery.

Beth's suggestion of taking it one day at a time is a great one.  There's bound to be lots of changes, take it slow and remember to take time for yourself.

When my DH entered rehab for drugs mainly coke, I removed all the alcohol from our home.

Can you ask him not to drink in your presence?
