believe it or not, I currently don't have medical insurance but we paid out of pocket for the doctor visit because I need to be able to take care of the family and wanted that tamiflu I heard so many great things about. the doctor said they don't test for H1N1 at her office because they treat it the same, regardless of the type of flu. I thought that was weird, because I figured they'd want to monitor out breaks, especially since the local elementary school had 100 kids absent on Monday with the flu! I wonder if she said they didn't test because I don't have insurance.
I have all the symptoms of Swine, but my fever never went over 103 which is the one thing that makes me hopeful it wasn't H1N1 (usually higher w/ that I believe).
Dan has it now and I suspect Joey will be next as he was coughing, too. Dan is miserable today, but that also makes him quiet which gives us both a chance to rest :-)
We also had company over for dinner Monday night and THEY have the flu now too. Only a matter of time before the rest of the family drops like flies. My daugther was coming home from college this weekend but I told her to stay at a friends instead of our germy home. She can't afford to miss college classes for this!
