Hello

I have been suffering from perimenopause symptoms for nearly two years now, I am 50 years old.  My question is that recently I have been suffering from severe cramps and with it extremely light bleeding.  Is this something I should be concerned with?  New to this stuff, so any advice will be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the board.  Before we can answer your question, I need to ask you one, or two.  lol  Do you mean spotting instead of a period OR between periods?  Are/were you having periods regularly?

well my periods are irregular, and right now the bleeding is so light that a tampon is really a waste, a panty liner will last all day.  I have had pretty severe pelvic paint for two days and now have lower left back pain to go with it.  Vicodin helps the pain some but the pain never goes away.

Ok, it is time to call the dr.  Tell them what is going on.  Pain that never goes away, is something I would be checking out.  Let me know what the dr says!

Ok so the pain was so severe I went to the hospital yesterday, and what they found shocked and scared me.  The found a 5cm mass on my uterus.  Am trying today to get to a gynecologist because morphine wouldnt even take the pain away.  I hope they just want to take out all the inerds and call it good.  Wish me luck
