Hi there,
I had the Novasure ablation done as well as a few other hysteroscopic procedures. The ablation was done back in 12/04, and along with it I underwent the Essure procedure so as not to risk becoming pregnant again afterwards.
I had fibroids and polyps removed 2-3 times via hysteroscopy with D&C.
Yes, the hysteroscopic procedures are outpatient. I can empathize with your anxiety -- I myself am a very anxious person! However, I assure you, once you realize that it's all over, you'll realize that it wasn't as bad as you thought it would be!
After the ablation, you will feel cramping, and you will bleed/spot, of course. However, by the next day, the cramping may end up being pretty much non-existent. It will take a few days, at least, for the bleeding/spotting to taper down.
