I was curious if there's anyone out there taking this challenge who, like me, just started. I'm on Week 1, Day 3, and am already seeing the benefit of this program (who would have thought that just sitting in one place quietly alone in your apartment would be enjoyable?). I would really like the Mind-Body Challenge to continue, if only that it stays online so that I can follow the program to the end. Otherwise, if there are enough of us, it would be good to see this program start again shortly. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm living in Alaska, a place that gets very dark and very cold about this time. This means that something like this challenge really gives us semi-arctic dwellers something to look forward to. :)

How about it? Anyone else agree?

J

Hi there - I'm brand new to this challenge. I just signed up so I guess that puts me on Week 1, Day 1. I would love to see this challenge start up again but at a minimum, I'm going to walk myself through it. Like you, I think this would be a very helpful exercise for me.

Yes, I hope they at least keep it online for a while longer. I'm now on day 5 or so. Good luck, Michele!

Even when the official Challenge ends, this board will remain here so you can read each and every Challenge posted. If you look through this very folder, you will see each Challenge printed out in a text version with links too :o)  Enjoy.

Hi everyone-
I'll share your thoughts with the powers that be at iVillage. I'm not sure what their plan is for re-running it. From what I can tell, these challenges tend to be annual occurences.

But, as Lisa said, all the challenges are posted here on the boards and you can work your way through them at your own pace. This board will be up too, so you can come in and tell us how you're doing and get feedback and support from your fellow challengees.

Everyone has their own timetable when it comes to developing a mindfulness practice, so please don't feel like you are behind. You are right on schedule. Although classes, teachers and fellow students are important guides and companions on the journey, ultimately, yoga and meditation are solitary practices. It's just you, your body and your breath, even when you are in the middle of a class. So please don't feel like you are not getting a full experience.

And lastly, welcome aboard! We're so happy to have you here.
Best,
Kate
