Miscarriage Support

Hi, my name is Cintia and I started to bleed a week ago. I was 5 weeks pregnant. I had an u/s on tuesday and it showed nothing in my uterus. However, I am still bleeding and today it is kind of heavy (like regular a/f).

So I was wondering for how long you ladies bled after the beginning of the miscarriage?

I am glad I found this board...this has not been easy on me :0(

Cintia, I am sorry for your loss. It is not easy, but finding support sure helps.

I was about six weeks along when I started bleeding off and on. At 9 weeks I miscarried. I chose to let nature take her course an did not go for a D&C, which I've heard may have affected how long I bled... which was almost five weeks after the miscarriage. The midwife suspected I actually bled right up to my next menstrual cycle, so it was probably just four weeks.
