Miscarriage Support

I think it's normal to be afraid.  I know I was.

Everyone is different, you might be able to achieve pregnancy again on your first try, or it may take several months.  Has your doctor advised you can start to try again?

I am so sorry for your loss.  I had a D and C on 1-4-08 and got pregnant again that april.  The dr.s usually tell you to wait a few months.  They say the average couple takes a year to get pregnant when TTC.  It is perfectly normal to feel scared.  The TTC after miscarriage board would probably be the most helpful board to you here on ivillage.

Hello Crystal,

My name is Nicole and I too found out that I was Pregnant on the 18 of October and by the 26th I had a Miscarriage.  I went to the doctor to find out what I could do and how far along I was.  I was six weeks five days when I lost my first baby.   I have been trying with my husband for about five years with no avail to get pregnant so I know what your going through.  My doctor said since we have been trying so long to get pregnant right away, and that he doesn't usually suggest people to get pregnant at least two months after a miscarriage.  I know what you are going through and I too am also scared.
