I had a miscarriage last wednesday. I was 6 weeks, but the egg never developed past fertilization. So no sac or baby. So I started bleeding and cramps on Wednesday. Now I am having cramps, nausea, hot flashes, irritable. Anyone else have othe symptoms besides bleeding/cramping?

Leighann,  I'm so very sorry for your loss.  I am glad you found our board, as it can be a great place for questions, answers, and every emotion possible. ;-)

Cramping and bleeding are quite common - as are all the hormonal symptoms you're having.  Irritability, mood swings, hot/cold flashes are common anytime your hormones are changing.  I believe that every pregnant woman, no matter how long her pregnancy is or how it ends, goes through a postpardem period.  After a miscarriage, some women believe that they are experiencing only grief and others don't believe they should be experiencing any feelings at all following such an early loss.  There is no wrong answer.  But that can sometimes help explain why feelings or emotions can hang around for a while.  It's a fine balance of grief and postpardem, IMO.  But if you're ever unsure of anything physical or emotional, you should always call your doctor's office.

I hope this helps - take care, and keep us updated on how you're doing! *hugs*
