What do I need to do to make sure that I am ready start trying for another baby after having a miscarriage?  I don't have the resources that some women do have and my doctor dont really explain anything.  I can't even get my husband to talk with me about this.  I would like to talk with someone.  I was suppose to be 14 wks last wk.  I have an appointment at the end of the month,  I was wanting to know how can I get the doctor to listen and answer the questions that I am asking and to get the information that I am needing to know?  I would apprciate any advice or help that any one can give me.  Thanks.  I am very sorry for any one that has, or is going through a miscarriage, I know how they are feeling.  I am trying to get help to move on and get the emotions to go, I know that...that is going to be hard but any help.  I would appreciate it.

I am so sorry for your loss.  everyone is different, but I was told 3 cycles is best, but if you at least wait until you have a period so that if you do get pg right away, they can better calculate your due date.  But emotionally, you may want to take more.  I remember wanting to get pg right away, then after we decided to quit trying was it I realized I was focusing on getting pg again to avoid dealing with my loss.  You need your dr to listen, that is what they get paid for!  If this one won't, find one that will!

I suggest writing all your questions down before you go into your appointment, that way you won't forget anything. Also, you might want to bring someone with you that is supportive of you, that way if you get nervous or forget something, they will be there to help. It is very important to get all your questions answered AND to have a helpful doctor! Anything he/she can't answer for you, let us know and we will do the best we can to help you figure it out! We all have become google-masters! :o)

Let us know how the appointment goes! Thinking of you!
