I think I've seen you at the S*xual ab*se and Healing board. I'm not DID, but I have many inner parts that I connect to at various times.  I was friends with the former-cl of this board and drop in from time to time.

I think its possible you might have a "Mommy" part that's lost without children under foot. I have found that I experience things differently when there's a younger part out, food, sight, and movement at times.

 I remember hearing someone say on here that they use a journal to communicate with their parts/alters. Perhaps someone can come along and share what they do.
