I was looking at the calendar yesterday, trying to figure out my August budget, when I noticed something. Christmas is only 4 monthes and 24 days away. Where has this year gone? It fells just like yesterday that I was complaining about all the snow. I was wondering if you have started Christmas shopping already?
As a matter of fact, I have started Christmas shopping. For the past 2 years, I've left alot of it until the last minute and I'm not doing that this year! I am getting it done early, so I can relax and enjoy the holiday season.
DH & I were just talking last night about how it didn't seem possible it was August already. No Christmas shopping here and the way the situation is there probably won't be. DH wants to put up a tree this year since his DS will be home (been gone for four years) but I still hate the thought of putting up a tree when I know there won't be anything under it. We'll see.
Well now, if you know me very well, you know I am already Christmas shopping ;) I should be done by the end of August. I started back in December....lol.
Not to mention birthday shopping too ! We have so many birthdays in December! Egads!
