Thank you to those who replied.
Just some background information: the reason I didn't get my benefits was because I had just started, and even though I had been there for 3 months, I went to 4hrs a day, and in order to get my benefits, I had to be there full shifts. If I had went back to full shifts, I might have gotten my benefits. It was just so hard to afford physical therapy at $120 a week when I was making $200 a week.
However, there is good news! I got a new job, where I am up and down and moving and it pays more AND has better benefits! I just quit my other job and they understood why I couldn't stay. I knew I would never go back to full 8 hour shifts and risk more pain, and more damage.
Thank you again!
I am glad everything worked out for you. I hope you enjoy your new job too. I think being able to move more will help you in the end. Good luck, and congratulations. I hope you get to feeling better, and let us know how it works out.
Good for you ! I am so happy that you got a better job that allows more movement, pays better and has more benefits too. It seems that things are looking up for you. Congratulations and keep us posted. Lia
