Hi all! just wanted to let you know that I am away this week. I am looking after my Mom while my cousin has surgery. I will be checking in on the board, but may not get here as often as I should.
Hope your cousin does alright with the surgery and I hope your mom is doing ok. You've talked a little bit about her on the board, if I remember right she has advanced osteoporosis. Does she take anything for that or is there anything she does or can do about it?
Hi Terri! Everything went well and I am back home.
You are right about my Mom's osteoporosis. She has had many fractures, although none in the last few years. She is not currently on any medication, mostly by her own choice. She does take a calcium and vitamin D supplement, but that is all.
