Hmmm...how shall I begin? With some background perhaps? 4 pregnancies, first one ending in 2T m/c, all delivered via c/s except for the first, which was a vaginal delivery. I was having problems with my fiance, and decided that my body was only able to take so much, and opted for a tubal after my fourth pregnancy, which was about 2 years ago. That's when I started to notice that I was...different???

I started my period when I was 10 yo, and I always had some killer periods, to the point that my cramps would send me straight to bed, with so much pain that I would literally get sick, and get chills and sweat, I mean HORRIBLE. Once I had my first child, I had the best periods and they only got better, I no longer had those awful cramps, and I was quite glad. I also knew going into the tubal, that I would experience some effects on my body but I didn't know to what extent.

For two weeks before my period starts, I am a raging, hormonal "B", my family doesn't want to be around, it's really causing a strain on the relationship i'm trying to mend with my fiance, but I can honestly say that he's been more than supportive, and actually noticed that these changes only happened for two weeks, but who can really live this way???

I'm moody, I have a short fuse, I'm so tired, then I have these periods that are so heavy, I'm practically wearing depends!!!

I'm so irritable, and really just an awful, awful person...I don't even recognize myself. Then my period comes and I'm back to normal....what can I do? Is there anything that's natural that I can try and use??? I mean wow, I can't even imagine having a tubal to then have to take BCP to control my mood swings....ugh....I'm at a loss....HELP! =0(

I understand your hesitation to take the bcp.  My DH had a vasectomy after our 2nd child and it just doesn't seem fair that I should have to use bcp now that I don't HAVE to!!

Some women do find relief using herbs such as evening primrose oil and chaste tree berry.  I had someone recommend passion flower for the anxiety and it really seems to have helped.

I also recommend calcium and magnesium suppliments.  As well as B-6 or a B-complex supplements.

Daily exercise can help relieve symptoms.  Also a diet rich in complex carbs and protiens.

HTH!!
