I need some quiet time....

Hi Moonlightroses,

Long time no hear from you! How are you?

Quiet time is good and important. I've been having my quiet time right now, too.

I've been blocked out of iVillage at work for months.....and have had limited time online at home.  A glitch in the system has let me back into the 'village' and I'm catching up slowly.

I am doing OK actually.....just a little pressured at work and stressed at home - but I think that's most people's definition of 'life' - don't you?

Quiet time is something I need to be more assertive in giving to myself.  I make do with my daily commute (25 minutes morning and then again in the evening) but traffic is a trigger for me - so really that's not exactly 'quiet time'.

I hope you are well.  It's good to be back here.

It's certainly nice to see you over here again. Sorry about the stresses - I think it's a stressful time for a lot of people right now.

Do you drive to work? Maybe you can listen to an audiobook or a podcast? If you don't drive to work and you have an iPod, you could probably also listen to a guided imagery?
