My father passed away last Saturday after a brief hospitalization. When he was admitted to the hospital last Thursday morning he was unconscious, but a short while later he was in a coma from which he never woke up from.
He was 87 and had led a very full life which took him around the world and back here again. He was a quiet man who didn't need to say much to be respected by many. For him, action meant more than words, and a man of action he was. He was one of those privileged people who could say, "This is what I built", and what he built still stands strong today.
