Hey everybody! Halloween is just around the corner, what are your plans?

I'm undecided on what DB (does DB = Dear Boyfriend exist?) and I are going to do this year. I have never had more than two trick or treaters, so I think I'm gonna actually go out this year...maybe. :) What are you gonna do?

Generally me and my friends and their SO's all dress up and go out to someones house, then off to dance at some clubs. I've always seemed to be single the last few years on Halloween, but this year DB (I don't know if there is Dear Boyfriend, but we can make it!) is around so I am unsure if I *really* want to do that. He is older (37) so his "club" days have long been over (I'm 26). It was "his weekend" with his son, but he traded with his ex so that we could spend Halloween together. We've never gone to a club or anything together, so I am curious to see how he will like it! He claims to hate them, but I think he secretly wants to go out! I am afraid he will hate it though! He has a loft (we always spend time at his place) so there won't be any trick or treaters. I wouldn't be against having a lazy night and watching scary movies, making cookies and pumpkin seeds though! I would hate to suggest a lazy night when he secretly might be excited to go party for once in 9 years!

Hey, it wouldn't hurt to get dressed up and go out for a couple of hours, see how it goes and decide if you (or him) want to go home and cuddle on the couch. However, I found out I have to work until 9 on Halloween, which is kinda creepy; I work in a VERY old hotel that has some ghost stories to it. I guess DB and I could still go out and do something, I think I'll just wait and see what happens.
