I have HPV (apparently-the high and low risk strains). I had a LEEP this past summer and my most recent pap came back normal. So that's the good news.

The bad news is that I keep having recurrences of genital warts quite frequently. At first it was the same one coming back over and over...but recently, it spread to a couple different areas around my vagina-including on the clitoris. The treatment for that area hurt like a
b\±€÷!!!

I don't really understand a whole lot about HPV and the associated warts and it seems that doctors don't know some things as well-esp since they didn't even know about HPV several years ago.

So I would really appreciate some answers to a few questions I have:

* Can I spread a genital wart (by touching it) to another part on my body, such as the mouth?

* Can receiving oral sex while I have a genital wart and then kissing give me the wart on my mouth?

* Can he get the wart on his mouth from giving me oral? Or on his hand and then penis from touching my wart?

* If the mouth or other parts of the body CAN and do become infected (either me or him), will those areas always be prone to a reocurrence?

Please help me. I am already living with genital herpes (HSV 1) which I contracted from receiving oral sex. I just don't know how much more I can deal with-esp if I don't fully understand it. I don't want to always be walking around with warts on my vagina, but they seem to take several treatments to go away or else they don't go away at all...and if they do, they come right back.

How can I have a normal, healthy sex life if I am CONSTANTLY afflicted with the consequences of herpes and/or genital warts??? I'm about to hit my limit of "coping."

Thanks for listening and for your answers, advice, & support.
