25 random things about yourself
This thing has been going around on Facebook a while ago, I thought it would be fun to do it here as well. All you have to do is list 25 things about yourself :-)
Here are mine :
1) I'm a total tea addict, when i was living in Geneva I had over 20 different type of tea and infusions in my closet, In India that is now about 10 different types
2) I like being around water, right now i don't live near an ocean or a lake, and we don't have a pond or fountain, it's though.
3) As a kid I had a HORRIBLE singing voice and was tone deaf, but as I grew up I ended up with a nice soprano voice and I sang in a choir for several year.
4) I took years of acting classes as a kid, stopped for a while then joined the highschool acting class.
5) I can't dance on solid ground, but put me inside water and I have rythmic sense, I practiced Synchronized Swiming for 4.5 years and reached competition level.
6) I can accurately measure space and distances by sight and I'm rarely wrong about it.
7) If you care for your house plants, don't entrust them to me when you leave.
8) I love to cook, but only if I'm not stressed out or tired or pressurized to do it.
10) I'm not a morning person, yet I'm forced by my dog to be up at the break or dawn, tried ignoring her, but if I do she destroys the house and that make me even nutter
11) i'm a light sleeper, my senses stay alert at night and the slightest wierd noise, smell or a mosquito bite wake me up in seconds.
12) I don't like wearing short skirts at all and avoid it at all cost.
13) While we are at it, I hate button down shirts, and only owned the one I had to wear during choir concerts I loathed every minutes of wearing it, to make it worse the first choir uniform also had a short skirt...eeeeeek
14) I couldn't care less about diamonds and gold jewellry
15) I love to read, and I need to own the book I read, I love to hang around book stores and not just for novels, i still think reference books are better than internet in many ways.
16) I have a thing for superhero movies in particular.
17) I'm a Starwars fan, and when Starwars Episode 1 came out I went to see it 8 times in theater, the fact that Ewan Mc Gregor played in it was one of the reason. My favourite starwars movie remains "Return of the Jedi" I destroyed 2 VCR tapes from watching it or parts of it too much.
18) As kid I collected stamps, key rings, fancy erasers, and stickers all at the same time
19) All I kept from those collections now are my stamp albums I still continue adding new ones every now and then.
20) I have a thing for purses, even if I end up wearing the same old one until it breaks appart.
21) Now that I'm barefoot all the time, I absolutely need to have my toe nail painted, I hate seeing them bare.
22) I like solitude, big social affairs drain all my energy.
23) I'm loyal to my friends, but it takes time for them to move up my social ladder and gain my absolute trust, I prefer surrounding myself with a few trusted people rather than having a huge surrounding of acquaintance around me at all time.
24) I like window shopping and can spend a whole day roaming around and not buy anything.
25) I own an impresive collection of bangles, both glass and metal.
