I went to the derm. yesterday. The one spot I was concerned about was a keratosis. That was good. It was different than the other sebacious keratosis I have because this one he decided to freeze. I don't know why. He also froze a Actinic Keratosis on my nose. (I knew he would do that) The problem is....Just before we parted ways he said "By the way, there is a mole on your lower back I am concerned about. I don't think it has to come off YET but have your wife watch it and if there are any changes in it come right in" I do not like the sound of that. He said the color is what brings him to say that. Symmetry is good size is OK. Now I have to have my wife check it all of the time and hopefully remember its size and shape. I am having her take a photo of it but she will still have to use her judgement on the size. I wish he would just take it off!

Oh man, (((Redman))) I completely underestand and I would be feeling the same way.

I hope it doesn't show any changes.

I'm so sorry that this happened. When I saw that plastic surgeon last week she told me "We're going to remove four lesions and you'll have to keep a close eye on several others because they're larger than I like and they're multi-colored too" and I'm already wondering why she doesn't just take all seven off if she's going to put me under general anesthesia..but..regardless...

I hope it is not a reoccurance for you and the mole stays the same.

Whenever there is any doubt I demand my Derm remove my moles.  Esp the ones on your back that you can't see and monitor yourself.  I'd make another appt and tell them to just take it off!  Sorry you have a worry!

I agree w/twoboys whenever I have anything suspicious on my back I have the doctor take it off, right then and there.  Good luck!
