Lentiginous compound dysplastic nevus

So...my post op was today and the doctor said they were as follows:

1) Compound nevus
2) Compound nevus
3) Fibroepithelial polyp
4) Compound nevus
5) Lentiginous compound dysplastic nevus with mild atypia

She didn't seem too concerned with number 5 until she started another body check. A more thorough one and started finding ones...darker ones that look just like that one...She wants four more that look more dysplastic removed soon.

Is this over the top or am I at risk here? She said they are all benign.

I don't think she's being "over the top" but rather is very cautious and proactive. 

I'm glad the ones that have been removed thus far are benign.

What a relief!  Having a minimally atypical mole is no big deal at all.  I've had several of them.  Most will never turn into melanoma.  It's good she's doing full body checks.  You should probably have them done once a year.  The best treatment for dysplastic nevi is to watch them for change. If your Dr sees some she's really concerned about, then have them removed in the office with a punch or excisional biopsy which she'll close with a few stitches.  If this dr refers you to a surgeon again for mole removal then find another doctor....cause he/she must be a quack.  That is really ridiculous and makes me think this Doctor has no idea what he/she is doing!
