I was just to the dermatologist for the first time this week.  Have several, several moles all over, but one on my shoulder was concerning me.  It was only 4mm, but would scale up occasionally with a black center.  The doc removed that one immediately, still waiting for path results.  But during the exam she found two more larger moles that she wants to remove surgically and that is scheduled in a month.  One is 8mm, with a dark ring and light center, and the 2nd is 6mm with a light border and dark center.

Hoping they are just dysplastic nevi, but the only reason I am alittle more worried is because I have been suffering form unexplained fatigue in the last few years...which is when I first noticed the smaller mole, but blew off the changes in it because it is on my ankle and i would occasionally nick it with the razor, and figured it changed as it healed.  The doctor quickly told me that it should not do that just because I cut it.

So...there it is.  Waiting for the results from this weeks' removal, and waiting for the surgery in December.  Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar, and what to expect.  How worried should I be?

I'm glad to hear you're getting those checked out and hopefully they'll come back totally clean and unrelated to the fatigue you've been experiencing (though I hope you're able to discover the cause of that too).

Got the biopsy results from the 1st two removals...all benign. Now just waiting for December surgeries.  Hopefully, nothing again.

I feel better knowing the 1st two were nothing...had either come back bad, i would be a little more concerned about these other moles.  I'm probably just a moley person, with ugly moles at that.  :D

Yay!  I'm so glad to hear they came back clear, you must've felt so great when you got that call!  Hopefully, the others will be clean as well (and it sounds like you stand a good chance of that)!
