I had my Social Security disability hearing today. The judge approved me @ the end of the hearing. What a relief ! I was denied over 2 years ago. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I just answered the questions truthfully. Anyway, I just wanted to share that w/ everybody.

Congratulations, that's a huge weight lifted off your shoulders.  Now you can relax a little.

I am so glad to hear that you were approved for your SSI - I don't mean to be presumptuous and I know I am a total stranger, you are welcome to check out my Facebook ore Linkedin profile if you care to - Nancy Halliday.  Suffice it to say, I've been there.  I was actually "lucky"  enough to be approved on the first try, and I put that in quotes because, although I've been in the Hospitality industry for almost forty years, much of it was spent working on contract and living on widow's benefits so my award would be laughable if it weren't terrifying.  SSDI? Nope, I own my house, or the bank and I do, and have just enough in savings....well you get the picture.  Anyway, why am I telling you this, right?  A few months ago, SSA sent me something called a Ticket to Work.  This allows us to find part time work up to the amount that will not affect our benefits, it also exempts us from constant medical reviews and re-proving our disability.  Now, my first question was could I find work from home and it took me awhile, but I came across a company called J.Lodge and if you are interested please go to their website: www.jlodge.com for more information.  I knew from the moment that I found their site that this could be a home for me and now not only is it my home at home, but I have the chance to share this opportunity with others.

It is certainly possible that you aren't interested in working, but you may know someone who is so just check out the site and who knows, you may find something there that is of interest to you.  Regardless, best of luck to you and congratulations!
