We'd love to hear all about your walking successes!  Are you walking for fitness for the first time? Maybe you've been doing this for years and are ramping it up for the challenge?  Have you lost weight, have more stamina?   Share!  Your successes, whether they be big or small, motivate all of us  : )

Thanks!

I am a 59 year old female who last October was about ready to be put on high blood pressure medicine. I told the Doctor no way....I said I will get it under control on my own.
Well, It was time to dust off the treadmill and get moving. I started slow and now that it has been 11 months, I have lost 37 pounds, blood pressure is normal......I feel great, look better, sleep better, have more energy, etc.
I did it mostly for health, but the added benefit is that I am so much smaller now.
Just Do It.....

Hi Cindi,

I started my journey 2 years go and controlled, went down, and kept controlling until I reached my goal weight this May. Now it is back to controlling and maintaining. I do have more energy and change my workouts to challenge myself. I did this all on my own. If I had waited for one neighbor who hates to exercise, I would never done it as good.
