Today I got a phone call from my boyfriend. It went well. I could tell he was very sad and I told him I love him. And we talked. He said he told the girl that he is not going to have any contact with her because he will not jeopardize his relationship with me because he loves me too much and our relationship is too important to him to lose me. I was touched that he actually listened to me and broke off contact with her. I basically said he could have her friendship or my love and I'm happy he chose our relationship. We also talked about where he will live when he get's home. Probably the end of February beginning of March but he really wants to be home before my birthday so we can celebrate it together. I guess his mom called the prison like 10 times seeing where he is going when he get's out. And that's why he got so upset. Because he wants to live with me and he said he put me down first on his list. So I told him I would call on Friday and see what I can do because it's his choice where he lives for the most part. But, my mom told me that they will probably go with his first choice and after his mom called 10 times they might end up thinking it's not the best place for him. I don't know but I know it's in my higher power's hands but I still want to do what I can.

Hi, Christina. TY for stopping by to share your thoughts. Since an aquaintance recently was released from prison, I know that for him, it was very difficult to find a living situation that pleased the officials. They looked @ the area where he wanted to go, as many times probation limits where the parollee is allowed to travel. Also, the individual must be of good character & without any sort of criminal history. The parollee isn't allowed to hang out with anyone who is on probation. Since he went to live w/his mom, the probation officer visits the home regularly. His mom isn't allowed to have any alcohol in the house. Of course, the parollee isn't allowed to go out to bars or hang out w/anyone who is drinking or taking drugs. There are many rules & regulations that must be followed by both the parollee & whomever they'll be residing with. It's A LOT of responsibility. GL! jan
