Are you thinking of taking a vegetarian/vegan cooking class? Have you ever taken one? Did you enjoy it? Do you use things you learned there at home now?

I go to a vegan cooking class at my local Seventh Day Adventist church twice a year; we're just a few weeks away from the next session. I'm really looking forward to it, but I'm also thankful for our monthly potlucks (the next of which is this Thursday). I use stuff from the classes all the time, techniques, ingredients I hadn't known. Things like nutritional yeast flakes and tahini are among so the most important ingredients I've learned to use. I'm hoping to learn more about vital wheat gluten in the next round. Although I'm most looking forward to having my 10 year old son really get involved, he who decided he wants to go vegan as well :D

I would take a vegan cooking class if one were ever offered. But even the health food stores don't offer anything. I do, however, have a lot of cook books and I am not afraid to experiment!
that's too bad you don't have any near you :( I need to write in again to Food Network suggesting that they have at least one show that focuses on vegetarian/vegan food; I never heard from the last email I sent them.
