What's easier for you? Follow a vegetarian recipe? Vegetarianism/veganism a meat-including recipe? Or do you more enjoy taking the ingredients you have on hand to make a vegetarian dish?

I fearlessly do all 3. Just this week, my friend and I came up with a vegan version of Shepherd's Pie from scratch, without converting a traditional recipe to vegan. We just picked a few veggies, used TVP/liquid aminos/various spices for the inside, and used Easy Squeeze (vegan margarine) on top. It turned out great!

Not sure what you mean by "Vegetarianism/veganism a meat-including recipe?", but I do both. Sometimes I use a recipe, as when I am making cookies; sometimes I just throw things together, as in making soup. Either way, the food is almost always great!
