Hi. I was here last month with a diagnosis of possible glaucoma. I went back to the doc yesterday morning so he could recheck my pressures and they said they hadn't changed, around 20-21. They took photos of my optic nerve and the doctor showed them to me and explained what the differences were. He said he felt I had early glaucoma and wanted to get the pressures down to prevent permanent vision loss. I went in today for a Trebeculoplasty on the left eye and will go back next week and have the right eye done.

They told me I might feel some heat in my eye during the procedure but never told me about the severe headache, or "brow ache" as they called it, from the drops to constrict my pupils. I wasn't sure if I was getting a migraine or not but before I left the office I was feeling better and have not had any problems since with the exception of a scratchy eye. Doc said this is 80-88% successful and if it works it could last anywhere from 3 months to years and eliminate the need for daily drops. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi!  I've had the pleasure of that procedure, too, and was grateful that it was so effective.  I still have to use drops, but it was sufficient to drop my pressure back to 14 after it had started inching up last year.  Today you should be on your way to being back to normal and not having any side effects.  True?
