You guys sure are quiet!  I keep peeking in, ever morning during the week....

This week's question, or maybe this month's since the last one was in August.....  How big is your family?  If you have one now, that's a good place to start, or you can tell us about the family you grew up with.

Our family's pretty small now.
Back when we all kept in touch, it was bigger.
It's just Mom and I.
She has a brother we don't talk to much.
My Dad lives across the city with his own not-welcoming family.
I also consider Boyfriend and his Mom family too.
But still, it's not big at all.
I have no brothers nor sisters.
I like it like that :-)

I have a reasonably big family. I am the youngest of five daughters to my parents, four out of 5 of us are married and 3 of them have kids for a total of 2 nephews, 3 nieces, and one more on the way.  I see only one of my sisters and a niece and nephew regularly, everybody else is about 3 hours away--Mom and Dad by car, the other sisters by plane, all in different directions.  So even though I have a big family, we're only as close as email. I'm kind of unhappy about that.

I also have 2 uncles and 4 aunts and about 12 cousins, I also never see them because either they're far away....or we just don't get together.

My husband's family lives mostly near us, he's got a brother (local) and a sister (not local).  We used to see them a lot before we got married a year ago, now we don't get together all that much.  I'm not sure how his mom feels about that....

I guess I chalk it up to us all being busy, but....
