I had a vulvar biopsy done earlier this year. It came back as not being lichen planus. The doctor then said it was probably allergic dermatitis. He said that I could be reacting to the PROPYLENE GLYCOL that is in the creams I had used to treat yeast and strep B and is also in cortisone creams. I have found that if I avoid propylene glycol and soaps with perfume I do ok.
