I have been wanting to post to this the last day or so, but I just did not get to it.
NOw Dad... hmmm for the most part he is doing well, his blood pressure seems to be regulated, it is not completely right but much better. Dd checks it every day at least once a day. (This is not only good for him but for her as well, gets her out walking)
HE is being stubborn about using the Red Cross bath bench he feels the chair he has in there is good enough... but it is not really safe, so we are sort of battling that one with him. He hates to hear he could by all right be back in the hospital so when we bring that up it has him rethinking ... some.
He is slowly starting to accept that he needs meals on wheels, that restaraunt food is not really that nutritious for him, so he has conceded to breakfast at the restaraunt with his pals and dinner at home (meals on wheels)
He is really trying but.... well he has issues with his hip and because he is afraid the doctor will make him have a hip replacement he refuses to talk to him about that... so today I reassured him that they will not even consider surgery at his age.
He I have noticed the last couple of weeks not been as with it, he called my sister 4 times one week and acted like it was the first time, and he asked me today about 3 times if Al is working still. Perhaps he was tired or maybe he is showing signs of alzheimers. I dont know but no matter what, like my brother says... what is IS.
ANyhow guess it is good and better news with a little oh no thrown in for good measure. 94 does look darn good on him though.
And apologize for this being so long, but its how things are today.
Thanks and hugs,
