Your Well-Being: Ages 43-59

Yawn....well I am awake....sort of....this early morning is my main computer time...so I do enjoy it!  How is everyone....Been crazy busy here....Yesterday I went to my TOPS(Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meeting....and then out to breakfast....I think that is a hoot....lol...then home and hubby and I took my folks phone shopping....You would think that phone shopping is no big deal....Oh Yes it is!!!  Folks have trouble with the 'new fangled' stuff....like cordless phones.....lol....but that is practacially all there is out there.....They ended up getting a corded base and a cordless extension....so then out to eat again....and then to their house to get it hooked up and trying out the newest features....so far so good....It has a really cool feature....when the phone rings a light flashes on the main unit and on the cordless unit....nice!  So one chore out of the way....I sure we will be back over there to figure out more features....

Today have to go get liscense tabs for car, bank, drug store, and probably another stop or two....lol....

Have yard work to do....leaves to rake and gardens to finish putting to bed for the winter....

Good morning Ruthie!  Sounds like a busy day for you, but a "good" busy.  I know what you mean about phones!!  I guess we will all be there soon enough!

Good Morning to you. I remember when I tried to teach my elderly aunt to use a cd player a few years ago. She just could not understand all the buttons at first. Took several tries to get so she could use it.I don' think she ever figured out how it all worked but at least she could put a cd in and listen to the music and turn it off. LOL

I have been busy most of the week running errands and trying to get things done around the house. Today I actually have time to do mostly just what I want to today. LOL Tomorrow AARP drving class so we can get a discount on our car insurance.

Wow you sure are busy... but then you always are. 

Hope that your parents like the new phone, I know with my dad we had to find the perfect one and that was a real chore.

Raining here and I still have some beds to fix up for the winter time.  Atleast it is not snow so will be able to get to them yet!
