Your Well-Being: Ages 60 Plus

Well hello ladies, I have been very busy.

I was in KY with family for 4 full days and then my sister asked me to stay at her house for a few more days when we all got back from KY. I decided to stay and for the first time I got to see her grandson. He turned 9 months old the day I first met and fell in love with him. I was gone a total of 8 days.

Just this morning our friends from FL left and they had been here since last Tuesday. I adored having them here this long and I already miss talking with Helen. We had so much fun and stayed busy every moment of every day and sometimes needed a nap just to rest up...LOL

Our annual Oyster Roast was this past Saturday and that was a big success. We had 28 in attendance including 8 kiddies of varying ages. A good time and fellowship was had by all and the food was fantastic. I love a good potluck meal. The Shrimp were fresh out of the water Saturday morning and the oysters the day before, both quite delish.

I decided to go ahead and change the sheets on the beds in the guest room this morning and then I had to go down to Mother's for a while as we were having her carpet cleaned while she is gone.

I hope each of you has been doing well while I have been off galavanting around.

You have been one busy girl.  I am glad your pot luck turned out so well.  Not much is going on up here in Puget Sound.  Our rain has arrived. 

I got rid of one cold, visited a friend in Blaine for 4 days and now have another cold.  I'm just staying home and not giving it to anyone else.  DH is a little put out but that is because I won't leave the house ill. 

We are cleaning our DD's carpets this weekend. I am always amazed at how much dust gets blown into houses from the trees.
