haven't been here in awhile....thought I'd stop by

our trip to San Francisco and yosemite was great...made a photo book of the trip...so nice to see

we still sub, but not as much, won't take those 6am calls..only if they know ahead..one day a week is enough for me! LOL

dd turned 30 last week, we had a family dinner here for her, with ds and family

they all worked on a Halloween float..."land before time"...for our town's parade..they won first place..all 3 kids were dinosaurs

we have the dgks over when we can, school was closed yesterday so we had both dgds over...fun but tiring!

all 3 dgks had the flu 2 weeks ago

can't believe Christmas is next month!!

Good to see you!  It seems that we're all busy doing something.  I can't get caught up on all of the things that need to be done.

Sorry to hear that the children have been sick.  DH and I are staying home as much as possible, and when we go out, we almost take a bath in hand sanitizer before getting back into the car.  There is no vaccine available for us even though I have a chronic disease (diabetes# and DH had a stroke.  I've had all of the flu that came around before vaccines, and have bad memories of how sick they made me.  DH had most of them too #except for the ones that went around while he was in Germany in the Army).  We can only hope that we have some residual immunity from them.

Christmas next month!  Wow!  I wasn't realizing how close it is.

Stop by the sink and we'll swap gift ideas as we have a little beverage.

luckily the kids illnesses were shortlived

we got the regular flu shot...some person who needs it can have my h1n1 shot!

those of us born before 1968 may have immunity to the h1n1 anyway

I could use some gift ideas!

and who was the first swine flu case @ the pediatrician's? our dgs, 20 mo!!
