Dealing With Difficult People

Granted I'm three days away from my vacation but I don't think I'll feel any better about this when I return.  I just don't understand people who can't follow policies that have been in place for YEARS.  I wish I could just scream at these people but no, I have to keep my cool and compose a professional email (which I'm finding extremely hard to do right now) *reminding* them yet again of the policy.  At this point, I'm thinking of just not even bringing it up, and see where the chips land.  I should not always have to be the one to follow up with someone when they don't do something correctly (again).  This is not even something that is even remotely difficult to do, and yet they can't even manage to do that one thing.
