Hi there!
Well, I did get rid of that particular situation...they have both since moved out of province, and we remain friends. So that's good. I now have a new roommate, who DOES pay his share of the bills, and the household goods that needs must be shared.
I do however, remain pretty depressed and sometimes have a very difficult time just getting out of bed! I was a little too cocky in my last post too, while I was able to start reporting for employment insurance...nothing was coming through. I then received a letter that I've been denied access to those benefits, and have since appealed that decision.
I see a little bit of light though. I posted in the section above this that I have finally received my first formal interview in the almost 11 months that I've been unemployed. I am not sure what to say when they ask why I left my last job...or what to do about references either. I asked one friend that I worked with there if she would provide a reference for me, but I haven't heard back from her. Somehow I don't think she'll do it, hopefully she will surprise me.
Thank you for your support on the apartment issue. The landlord was here just a short while ago to check things out and to see if there was anything that needed repairing. I keep a VERY clean household and they appeared to be very pleased with me. I've lived here for three years now, two of those paying the rent as a single woman...I know they appreciate having a stable renter.
My interview isn't until tomorrow afternoon, if you have any words of wisdom on what to say about why I left my last position, I would love to hear it!
