Where is everyone?  It is just too quiet around here lately.  Maybe a few fun questions will attract some people and we can have some fun.

Do you have a separate, more formal, dining room?

What color are your bedroom walls?

Do you ever use frozen dinners?

What is the one household chore that you hate the most?

Have you ever given or received a May Basket?

What is the temperature right now where you are living?

Looking forward to reading your answers.  I'll come back later to add mine.  Feel free to add questions.  :-)

Thanks for posting these Joan. They are great!

I know I have been so lacking lately here on the board. ;o) I have had so many projects going at home and other places too..... finishing up our addition, painting beauty parlours, painting huge signs and making grand opening gifts. I get here so late at night. Next week hopefully I will not be soooooo busy.

I do have some photos of the little salon...... so I'll attach them on the bottom. Still more decorating work to do but we are more than 1/2 way done.

Anywho! Some answers to your questions.

Do you have a separate, more formal, dining room?

Not really, my kitchen and dinette are attached and one big room with a bay window by the table.

What color are your bedroom walls?

Silverberry by Behr, better know as a grayed lavender. Just love it as it's such a restful color.

Do you ever use frozen dinners?

Not much. I always end up cooking home cooked meals since I am home fulltime now. Frozen pizza once in awhile that I add our own toppings to.

What is the one household chore that you hate the most?

Believe it or not I just hate washing pots, so hubby does those, LOL.

Have you ever given or received a May Basket?

No, but tell us more about these as I haven't heard of this. What is in them?

What is the temperature right now where you are living?

Wooooo! You really want to know? It was 104 today in the shade, but it cools down each night and right now it's 70 outside on my covered porch and 78 inside. Thank goodness for our central air.

Great questions!

Yes, we are still here for the time being!

Glad you stopped by Sunny.

It's late here too now and I'm off to bed also, LOL.

It might be that May Baskets are a mid-western thing.  Even here people don't do as much.  So to explain - first, you do this on the first day of May.  You make a basket out of paper - construction paper, scraps of wallpaper, milk carton cut down, etc.  It can be square, round like a cornucopia, decorated or plain but preferably with a handle.  Then you fill it candy, popcorn, and flowers - usually violets or lilacs depending on what is blooming.

Then in the evening, you deliver them to your special friends by hanging them on the doorknob or sitting them beside the door.  Then you ring the doorbell and run (or hide).  They are not suppose to know who left it for them.

I always thought it was a lovely thing to do and keep thinking each year that I will give some on Mayday but never seem to find the time.
