Welcome zumbalady! Sounds like a great dance. Do you do the zumba?
Yes, sad to say a lot of the decorating boards on the magazine channel are closing. This one may be closing too by mid May.
I just started a decorating group on our new ivillage social network and you can even post photos, share ideas and get many suggestions. Everyone is welcome. Maybe you would like to join so you have a place to go or just chat?

Your home sounds so lovely. You have the right idea if you want to add some color to your neutral color room. You could even paint the back of your built-in bookcases in the red you like and add lights. If that is not possible you can attach some jazzy fabric with the red color in it to the backs with velcro. How about some red candles in bronze or black candle holders? They even have great black iron scrolly candle holders that hang on the wall. You could add some of the red to your curtains as decorative fringe or trim to the tops and or edges. Do you sew? Flowers, real or silk are a pretty touch in a bronze or black vase. Some of the silk flowers are made so well now they look real. Large pictures you like with some of the red in would be great for the focal wall, say above your fireplace. Yes, pillows are fun too. Just don't overdo it with adding some color or too many prints as a little color goes a long way. Sounds like it will be nice and romantic adding some red to the room. ;o) I would love to see some photos.
What are chochki's? Have a link to see one?
